Type Supply is thrilled to introduce Marigny, a casual typeface drawn with serious typography in mind. The family combines the warmth of handwriting, the confidence of lettering and the functionality of typography into one package. It is distinctively legible at small sizes and lovingly distinctive at large sizes.

Each year the Tokyo Type Directors Club exhibits the results of its Annual Awards at the Ginza Graphic Gallery in Tokyo and ddd gallery in Osaka. The organisers invited us to create the promotional poster for the 2014 exhibitions. We created a special three-dimensional TDC and an accompanying custom typeface which was used on posters and other promotional material.

Noupe Design Blog

Noupe Design Blog Jan 23 2014 SVG is the new standard for vector images in the browser. Vector editors such as Adobe Illustrator allow to directly save to that format and modern browsers have no problems to properly display SVG. As SVG graphics consist of markup, they can be created and maintained using your favorite text editor, just as you do with your HTML. It is even possible to style SVG with CSS, though you’ll need to know about quite a few differences in doing so, compared to styling HTML.

More than 400 invited guests attended the opening event of The Art Hunter in Sydney on Tuesday night. The Art Hunter launch is a collaboration between The Cool Hunter and Jaguar, and the opening night was also the Australian debut of the spectacular Jaguar C-X17 concept car. To present The Art Hunter, we engaged our dream team of collaborators, led by the incomparable Natalie Longeon and Peter Pengly from The Artistry (they designed and executed our Summer Lovers Rotate store as well), to transform a 500 m2 warehouse in Alexandria into a genuinely exciting, temporary three-week art exhibition experience. The Art Hunter is not a white-walled space where you quietly walk past pieces of art.

Great graphic designer

: : : MWM Graphics : : : Matt W. Moore works to the credo of ‘range is conducive to growth.’ Like many artists of his generation, Matt’s background was in action board sports and the action art of graffiti, each with their core value of speed, do-it-yourself ethic, enthusiasm for new terrain, and sheer fun of collaboration. Over the past decade, he’s applied those principles to his bold, graphic aesthetic in media both analog and digital, for projects both personal and commercial. As founder of MWM Graphics, Matt dubbed his digital abstract style ‘Vectorfunk’ early on in his career, and has since employed it to cover surfaces ranging from Ray-Ban Wayfarers to Almond Surfboards; an Apple Desktop, Coca-Cola’s London Olympics Campaign, and an entire issue of Wired Magazine.
