La Petite Olga: Homemade Blueberry Ice Cream La Petite Olga: Homemade Blueberry Ice Cream Few years ago my sister showed me an easy and quick ice cream recipe. It's a great dessert when you have friends over and no idea with what to end the dinner. Mostly you always have the ingredients in stock. If you don't have blueberries you can use any other kind of fruits, they just need to be frozen and if mascarpone is too fat just use yoghurt. Vor ein paar Jahren hat meine Schwester mir ein einfaches Eiscreme-Rezept verraten.

bake sale week: raspberry lemonade bars

bake sale week: raspberry lemonade bars I know this seems like a bit of a cop out, seeing as last year I made those lime bars, but the name of these just makes you want one, doesn’t it? It’s like one last throw back to the summertime captured in a cookie. raspberry lemonade bars

How to make handmade udon noodles---its easier than you might think! — La Fuji Mama

How to make handmade udon noodles---its easier than you might think! — La Fuji Mama I am in love with this udon noodle bowl I got from the company Flavour Design Studio. Isn’t it gorgeous? I love the way it’s designed to be easy to hold, with a hole for your thumb to fit through, and I love the grooves and holes cut out for your chopsticks to sit in so they don’t roll away from you! I decided that I needed to make some homemade udon noodles to properly break in the bowl. It would have been a shame to eat store bought noodles out of such a gorgeous handmade vessel! Udon noodles are one of the many varieties of noodles found in Japan.

I am so in love with these darn chocolate lava cookies! What is it about a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie stuffed with decadent, rich, melted chocolate that makes it so irresistible?? Especially when topped with vanilla ice cream. These are one of Kev’s favorite homemade treats, and he usually asks me to make them at least once a week. They are so simple to whip up, and such a treat! Chocolate Chip Lava Cookies

That gives you about 5 weeks or so to find the perfect gift for the person who, in addition to one million other things, may have spent her birthday in 20 hours of labor, thereby missing going out to eat for her birthday dinner at a swanky restaurant. And okay, Southern daughter, you ARE the best birthday present I ever have or will get, but there’s still that 20 hours of labor thing.
