A review by James Puckett Jim Williams is a senior lecturer at Staffordshire University, where he compiled an excellent series of student handouts about typography. In 2010 the handouts were featured on Creative Review’s blog which generated interest from publishers. The handouts have now been published in book form as Type Matters .

Lorsque 2 artistes talentueux décident de faire une collaboration, cela donne évidemment un résultat très intéressant. JR et Lui Bolin ont combiné leurs talents pour faire un collage puis une peinture du colleur français par l’artiste chinois. Un projet très réussi à découvrir dans la suite. Lire la suite Tournée avec une caméra GoPro Hero 2, cette vidéo “New Lands” de Matthew Wainhouse a été réalisée au col de montagne Stevens Pass aux USA. Sur un morceau du groupe Justice, ces images de snowboard impressionnent.

Japanese publishing house GAS asked us to design a t-shirt print based on their logotype. The original logo of GAS (not designed by us) is set in letters consisting of black dots of various sizes. Together these letters spell out the word GAS: We decided to take these black dots and rearrange them in the form of our stellar system, showing the proper proportions of all planets. This image we put on the front of the shirt. On the back of the shirt, we printed a big black sun.
