Magnic Light is the first compact contactless bicycle dynamo - a new invention which we believe has the potential to revolutionize bicycle illlumination. Magnic Light is so powerful and looks so magic at first glance that most people search for a trick behind. They can't believe a dynamo can produce electric energy without touching the wheels. There are some on the market but they need magnets attached to the wheels and they don't produce constant bright light.
The Magnic Light dynamo does not need any magnets attached to the wheels and it produces enough energy for a brilliant light comparable to the best hub dynamos available, while beating the efficiency of hub dynamos by a wide margin. Magnic Light is the first contactless dynamo-powered bike light system with no additional components in the wheels. Energy is drawn from the rotating bicycle wheels without any physical contacts, and thus without friction. Electricity is generated in the lights by making use of eddy currents created by strong magnets (International Patent Pending PCT/EP/2012/001431). With this new technique lights can be completely encapsulated with no batteries and no external cables but with enormous efficiency.

A video is by far the best way to get a feel for the emotions, motivations, and character of a project. It’s a demonstration of effort and a good predictor of success. Projects with videos succeed at a much higher rate than those without (50% vs. 30%). We know that making a video can be intimidating. Not many of us like being in front of a camera. Play If you have computer access and a ready supply of enthusiasm, you’ve got all you need. No matter how creative or bare-bones your video, you'll want to: Tell us who you are.Tell us the story behind your project. And don't be afraid to put your face in front of the camera and let people see who they’re giving money to.
Another thing to remember: don't put any copyrighted music in your video without permission! Finally, make sure your video is 5GB or less, and formatted using a recommended file type (MOV, MPEG, AVI, or MP4). Community Guidelines. Are those the only guidelines? Printrbot: Your First 3D Printer by Brook Drumm. I designed the Printrbot to be the simplest 3D printer yet. There are some great kits out there - the Makerbot, the Ultimaker, the Prusa Mendel, and others - but none as small and simple as the Printrbot. This all-in-one 3D printer kit can be assembled and printing in a couple of hours. Other kits will not only take you many more hours to build, they will also have hundreds more parts, and they will cost more.
My design also does away with the finicky calibration and adjustment from which most 3D printers suffer. This is the printer a kid could put together. We assemble the electronics, we assemble the hotend, and we put the connectors on all the motors and components... no soldering required!
