Frosted Phrase Vase DIY

While it is convenient to have lots of different sizes and shapes on hand, I have to admit that they are all relatively plain. Nothing cool, nothing special—just regular old glass vases. That's about to change! I saw the vases floating around Pinterest that use the rubber band and glass frost spray paint method to make a pattern, but I thought it would be extra cute to take it one step further and do a phrase instead of a pattern: Supplies: Glass vase, letter stickers, glass frosting spray paint, and masking tape. 1. 60 DIY Accessories- Last Minute Gifts For Fashionistas

Although I started my Christmas shopping early(ish) this year, I still have a few missing presents. Now, stores and malls are overcrowded, and shipping deadlines for most online shops have passed. Darn procrastination! But it's not too late for a quick and easy DIY project, that doesn't involve a crazy amount of time or fancy supplies. Most of these are perfect for fashionistas of all age, require 30 minute tops and either supplies that you already have lying around or that you can easily find at your local craft store.

It’s always so fun to see what my friends come up with when we get together to create. (i just wish the photos would do them justice!) I’ve got detailed descriptions of the lights and more photos after the jump… each person (except for me and jaime) worked on 2 lights. we all focused on paper as the main decorative element. rather than glue the paper to the glass, we used gel matte medium — it’s a little more forgiving when it comes to placement than glue is, and it dries clear. it does take a while to dry, though, and anna had to resort to using a hair dryer, otherwise she may have spent the night on my couch! DIY HANDSEWN BROCADE MINI SKIRT. 22nd October 2012 Although these days most of the clothing projects I do involve my sewing machine, it would be wrong to think that you must have a sewing machine in order to make beautiful pieces that you can be proud of.
