As the guest last week of Zurich University of the Arts I set the following task to a group of sixteen masters students: “Create the plan for a social harvest festival that will reconnect Zurich with its natural ecosystems and grassroots social innovators.” The idea was to demonstrate, in practice, and at a city-wide scale, how to combine the low-energy design principles of permaculture, with the metabolic energy of social innovation.

Fashioning Technology

The exhibition "TECHNOSENSUAL: where fashion meets technology" presents electronic textiles and wearable technologies created by international haute tech couture designers. Curated by Anouk Wipprecht, the exhibition will open on June 14 at 19:00 at freiraum quartier21 INTERNATIONAL to kick off the "MQ Summer of Fashion" . A preview will be presented at 11:00 in a press tour.
