Dragon's Den Curriculum: 12 of the Best Science Sites EVER!

If you've been looking, and looking (and looking some more) you've come to the right place! There's nothing like a great website for centers or cooperative learning to reinforce, excite and spur kids on to science! Try out a few of the great sites below…they are sure to please!!! Set your gifted and talented kids loose on any of these sites and see them light up! Kids will love, love, love this site! This is a terrific site for older students, and kids who are really interested in learning about subatomic particles…there's a game zone too.

This site called "Windows to the Universe" is a really, really good one for fourth grade and up. Discover the secrets of everyday stuff right here! From the Smithsonian find great games and activities for astronomy, geology, zoology, anatomy and physics! Large collection of terrific science activities from the PBS show Zoom. Sans titre. Cartesian Diver PC2 CON-2 — Supercharged Science OPT. Rene Descartes (1596-1650) was a French scientist and mathematician who used this same experiment show people about buoyancy.

By squeezing the bottle, the test tube (diver) sinks and when released, the test tube surfaces. You can add hooks, rocks, and more to your set up to make this into a buoyancy game! The test tube sinks because the when you squeeze the bottle, you increase the pressure of the water and this forces water up into the test tube, which then compresses the air inside the tube. 123D Circuits - Design and Test Electric Circuits Online. 123D Circuits is a free tool from Autodesk for collaboratively designing electronic circuits online.

123D Circuits - Design and Test Electric Circuits Online

On 123D Circuits you can design your circuits and test them on the simulator in your browser. You can create circuits from scratch or use and modify templates and other publicly shared projects. Autodesk recently published a short playlist of videos containing demonstrations of how to use 123D Circuits for various tasks. Short engineering lessons are included in the second half of the videos. Embedded below is one of the videos about designing a circuit to light an LED.
