Martin Vogt aka Haywyre, has been studying piano since the age of six. His interest in the production of hip-hop, dubstep and electronica began when he lived in Austria. Shortly after moving back to the United States, in 2008, Haywyre was created. Since then he has released four albums, The Voyage being most recent. His inspiration comes from artists such as Opiuo, Noisia, Break, STS9, Pretty Lights, Flying Lotus, Freddy Todd, Trentemoller, Patrick O’Hearn, Kraak & Smaak, Phillip Glass and more. A couple of weeks ago during WMC I got to meet a certain gentleman by the name of Danilo from Colombia who does a project called Plexo . I got sent his self titled debut album recently and I am liking what I'm hearing. Great dark, electronic mostly instrumental tunes. Best part is he is offering the entire release as a free download via his bandcamp page .

Mista Men: Mista men is me, Ryan (aka Mella Dee) & John (Woozee), from Doncaster. We’ve been producing roughly about 5 years probably, but under the Mista Men guise for the past 2 or 3 years. MM: It’s probably largely to do with dubstep having such strong roots in garage from my side, it made me really dig deep in, after only really touching on it in my younger days.
