Maggi Miller

Maggi Miller is a Professor of Reading and Study Skills at Austin Community College. She has served as department head for the Reading program, directed the Learning Communities program and developed the initial Alternative Teacher Certification program. She has served as a VISTA volunteer, managed federally funded projects for the dissemination of best reading practices, and developed curriculum in reading and study skills for students of all ages. For 15 years, she managed a unique team of educators dedicated to promoting active learning. She has been training educators for over thirty years.
