A mediados del 2006, Eva, Alex y Núria se propusieron realizar una investigacción sobre como las mujeres tecnólogas habían accedido a las tecnologías, como las usaban y qué querían cambiar de las tecnologías o de su relación con ellas. Así nació el colectivo informal donestech i el metaproyecto Código Lela. En sus inicios, este proyecto quería conocer las vías y formas de acceso de las tecnólogas a las tecnologías, sus usos y deseos, para y también, visibilizar las especificidades de estas mujeres, potenciar el acceso de más mujeres a las tecnologías, y, nosotras mismas, seguir creando red e incorporando las tecnologías en la investigación social y a nuestras prácticas tecnoactivistas. Pero, tal y como dice nuestro manifiesto , nos hemos ido enredando, más y más y más…de modo que el proyecto Código Lela, se ha convertido en un megaproyecto de lo relacionado, y que relaciona, las mujeres con las tecnologías.
