Therefore they used a microcontroller and 24 small servo motors in order to imitate a pattern card that could be directly controlled by live user input which was processed via a connected computer. For the Industrious|Artefacts exhibition at the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen, Netherlands, the software was completey rewritten, including audio analysis and servo controller.
