Rue des Modèles

BCBG Max Azria creative officer Lubov Azria has mastered her interpretation of the perfect urban chiffon dress. It’s geometric, saturated with rich blocks of color, has a pleated panel or a few slits, and is sexy for its sheerness, not its voluminous silhouette. Lubov Azria director creativo de Max Azria ha ido muy por encima con su interpretación del perfecto vestido de gasa urbano. http://ruedesmodeles.blogspot.com/
Whether you're a flight attendant or a captain, looking your best on an airplane inspires confidence in the passengers. Over the years, designers including Giorgio Armani (Al Italia), Nina Ricci (Cathay Pacific) and Christian Lacroix (Air France) have created sky-friendly fashions for airlines. Member helectras is still in school, but she envisions bright blue for her time in the air.

http://www.nowness.com/day/2012/4/9/2035/black-gold-mote-caviar Freshly harvested Siberian sturgeon caviar is meticulously cleaned, salted, measured and preserved as photographer Mark Mahaney examines the processing of one of the most luxurious edibles on the planet. A product of the sturgeon program at the non-profit Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Florida, the local caviar has been sourced to fine restaurants including Napa Valley’s three-Michelin-starred Meadow Wood and the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. “We are dealing with some of the top palates on the planet and we have to provide these chefs with a consistently high quality product,” says Seth Cripe, founder and co-owner of Anna Maria Fish Company, a leading distributor of Mote’s caviar. “We are there tasting every fish to make sure each one is perfect. Besides, eating caviar never really gets old.”

http://wowetflutter.com/page/2 The Tropism Well is a projected produced by UK-based Poietic Studio who have rethought the traditional water fountain and made something amazingly fun. The unit is able to sense when someone approaches, which triggers the stem part to be pumped with water filling the glass at its top end. Allowing the natural law of physics do all the work, when the glass becomes heavier the stem dips ever so slightly pouring you a cup of water.

Nude “Sex” shoes (and yes, the word is spelled out in Swarovski crystals) make us want to click our heels three times, get into bed and … put on our slippers. Bold statements set the tone for the spring 2012 issue of T Design. The artist Doug Aitken’s house in Southern California sounds as striking as it looks, while a London town house contrasts historic architecture with opinionated, contemporary decorating. T visits a wind-swept West Coast garden with a personal style and a Chicago artist whose ceramic plants evoke a garden on another planet. http://tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com/

http://tremendoustralala.wordpress.com/ Firstly I would like to apologise for my prolonged absence here, four months is far too long to neglect anything, least of all one’s blog. So I offer my sincere apologies along with a promise-perhaps a new year’s resolution as it were-to try to post more regularly. So with that out the way we can get down to business. Pink. Yes, pretty pastel pink. I want some.
