Meet Lattice – computes

When we set out to build our decentralized mesh computing platform, we obviously looked into blockchain technologies but decided against this architectural approach due to several major reasons including: slow transaction speeds, wasted computes on proof-of-work (PoW), and ledger storage overhead (more details). We ultimately decided to build a DAG-based ledger for computes transactions on top of IPFS! The benefits of this approach include: incredibly fast transaction speeds with no wasted computes on PoW due to mining and no ledger storage overhead (which is perfect for IoT devices).

In fact, transaction throughput improves as more nodes join the mesh computer. All Computes transactions are linked via an IPFS Merkle DAG connecting all parent and child transactions in the appropriate order to create a ledger that manages tasks, input/output files, and logs.

The No. 1 Predictor Of Career Success According To Network Science

Because they’re part of multiple groups, they have unique relationships, experiences, and knowledge that other people in their groups don’t. This is challenging in that it can lead to feeling like an outsider as a result of being misunderstood and under-appreciated because few people understand why you think the way you do. It is also challenging, because it requires assimilating different and conflicting perspectives into one worldview. In one of my all-time favorite movies, The Matrix, the main character, Neo, is exposed to a completely new world. Once he is, he can’t go back. On the other hand, having an open network is a huge opportunity in a few ways: • More accurate view of the world. . • Ability to control the timing of information sharing. . • Ability to serve as a translator / connector between groups.

. • More breakthrough ideas.
