Pinback est une réunion d’anciens combattants. Deux personnes à l’impressionnant pedigree s’associant afin d’enfanter une singulière musique: de l’indie pop droite, fière et racée. Car, à la différence d’un lourd paquet de pauvres besogneux s’esquintant à sortir une mélodie trop rapidement oubliée, le groupe de Zach Smith (ancien Three Mile Pilot) et de Rob Crow (l’homme au mille groupes différents) ne verse jamais dans le tiédasse ou le revu.
