Add some baked potatoes, and you’ve got a fabulous one tray meal. So fast and easy to prepare, you can make this tonight with any pork chops or even CHICKEN! Confession: I have no idea what to call the marinade that I use for these pork chops. It just sounded cute to say “country-style”, and the ingredients are akin to what I use to make country-style ribs. So that’s where the name comes from. I supposed I could have called it Barbecue Pork Chops. So there you go. It is seriously tasty – savoury and sweet with a bit of acidity. Hmm, I just had a fleeting thought. This is simple AND fantastic. I was looking for a good braised pork recipe for a green chili stew I make.. This is FAR better than the roast and cube approach I have taken for the past several years. I did leave some out of the stew for snack-whiches.
