Information Architects (iA) recently published Web Trend Map 4, the latest version of their popular web diagram. Paying attention to the intersections, we grouped associated websites and ensured every domain is on a line that suits it. I believe that the real problem with internet mapping is not the number of points, nor even what kinds of points they may happen to be. I have toyed with the notion of using two- or three-dimensional fractals as a starting point.
