I was exploring modifications for the Behringer ADA8000 when someone in a forum suggested to another forum member "if you are going to go through so much trouble to mod an ADA8000 why not just make you own pre-amp?" It sounded like a good idea to me since I am starting a live sound business. I have seen the newest network audio gear and it is impressive, but it adds latency. Network gear also benefits from being as close to the source as possible. Therefore I began a serious study of analog preamps in an effort to keep the signal pure before digital conversion. This pearltree was born from that effort. I hope to encompass all sorts of audio projects as my knowledge increases. by go4thaudio Nov 27
