Last year I wrote a Photoshop tutorial for PSDTUTS showing how to create a very nice design using watercolor brushes. It was inspired by the work of guys such as Bruno Fujii, Margot Mace, Raphaël of My Dead Pony and Stina Person. This time I will create another effect but it will be using Masks and Watercolor brushesl; it's inspired by another great digital artist, the master Scott Hansen the mind behind ISO 50 and also some images from the Daily Inspiration . So in this tutorial we will use Photoshop, some brushes from Brusheezy and some stock photos.
OOB (out of bounds) is the result of a photo manipulation technique, done with a software such as Photoshop or The GIMP, which creates an optical illusion of a 3D effect and, just like the name says, it presents the subject as coming out of the bounds of a photo. So the OOB images show a photo within another photo. The OOB technique is quite easy to implement if you have basic photo editing knowledge, some imagination and the right pictures. In this post we’ll show you the 50 most outstanding and creative OOB creations, for your delight and inspiration. Enjoy!
