Connect:Homes Connect 2.1 Modern Prefab Pop-Up
The recently launched Connect:Homes has set out to design and manufacture modern and affordable green prefab homes, all made in one California factory. The units can be shipped most anywhere and with relatively low costs in comparison to other green prefabs on the market. The company just partnered with West Elm and designer Kishani Perera to deck out the interior of the Connect 2.1 Modern Prefab Pop-Up that was just unveiled at Dwell on Design 2012 in June.Home Decor Blogs

Cutting out the excess material allows the sling to be adjusted far more easily than if it is left in, and it doesn't compromise the security of the sling. You can make a fleece sling with regular overlapping pleats, but then a lot of material is going through the rings, and it's thicker and less comfortable. I recommend using this method for polar fleece and other thick fabrics.

A couple weeks ago, I found a paint-by-number at an unbeatable price. I can't pass these things up even though I already owned this particular design. I thought that I could maybe use it to make a fun D.I.Y., but my new rule is that all thrifts that I purchase with the intent of restyling need to get done right away. I have way too many half finished projects in my life. With that little bit of motivation I came up with a fun D.I.Y. to display some of my favorite song lyrcis in our newlywed home.

Less is the New More: Making the Most of Small Spaces
Good Design For Living in Small Apartments As people migrate to smaller spaces, good design helps a lot. This is something they figured out in Europe long ago, that if you don't have a lot of horizontal room you can go vertical. Tumidei in Italy makes some of the nicest stuff, like this unit with lots of storage under the bed. This unit just raises the floor high enough for beds to slide under.I’m so excited to share my Oscar printables for this year! I wasn’t sure if I was even going to do them but I’ve been getting a ton of requests for them and I got really excited about updating the set. The theme this year is black, white, gold and kraft paper.

Perene’s portfolio is impressive with a set of luxury kitchens targeted at the high-end market and to those who do not mind giving an extra dollar for quality. Though majority of their designs can be classifed as ‘modern’, each kitchen is not without its own twist of style. Fancy decor, custom wall art and other curios lend each design its own flavour.
