Superhydrophobic spray means no more washing clothes - among others | ZME... Ross Technology Corp, a company that focuses on steel products has created a new product based on the spray known as NeverWet – which aside from being useful, is also pretty cool. Now, this might not seem particularly interesting, but it has a myriad of applications; it is built from nanoparticles and it is hydrophobic – not only that it stops water from wetting it, but it shoots water right of from the surface on which it was applied. Even if at first they wanted to apply this technology to steel, they quickly realized the enormous list of applications this can have, from shoes and clothes that wouldn’t require washing any more, to your phone that could become waterproof, or just on stuff that you don’t want bacteria to get on.

This spray will be released as a commercial product next year. Check out this video to see exactly how it works. Spray an even coating on leather or fabric. Here I’m using it to renew the waterproofing on a pair of old boots. China51.html from viewzone.com - StumbleUpon. Editor's Note: While this story has gone viral and has been picked up by the main stream media, we want to thank the brave Chinese woman who sent this to viewzone in early November and also to Haisheng Liu, who translated the text for us. With all the speculation we remind readers that the images and coordinates provided to viewzone were accompanied by an explanation. That's probably the smartest place to start. Haisheng Liu for viewzone.com I was asked to translate a recent submission to viewzone that contained the following images, taken from the google-earth program. Google now has a feature where you can view the exact location at different times in the past. As you will want to see these for yourself, the coordinates are provided. And here, at the end of the runway, antenna, symbol (whatever) is this odd thing. What we were told in the email: Magical Viking stone may be real. It's the 20th of February, 2010, and it's my great privilege to be meeting again with Klaus Dona. Klaus is going to be doing an audio commentary on one of his extremely special, unusual, and fascinating slide shows about the artifacts and the various phenomena that he has been researching, discovering, investigating personally all over the world relating to what I think you could legitimately call The Hidden History of the Human Race. KLAUS DONA (KD): That's a very good summary, yes. BR: [laughs] So I'm going to step back here, and what follows now, just kick back and enjoy this slide presentation. What are we looking at here ?
