Not up to expectations for NG by JohnLaudun I rely on this app to be a zoom-able globe for those moments when I am exploring geography thanks to a text I'm reading or with my daughter because she's asked an interesting question. The first thing any prospective buyer needs to know is that the zooms here are not user-determined but rather jumps between NG maps. One can zoom in or out within a map, but sometimes you'll find yourself jumped up or down a map. This map-based restriction carries over into the most glaring fault of this app: the only time the Pacific Ocean exists as a coherent unity is when you are at the globe level. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/national-geographic-world/id364733950?mt=8

You know, a bag, sleeve, or compartment, preferably with some kind of padding and soft lining, for protecting your iPad while in transit.
