Pumpkin Dog Treats with Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Recipe

Canned pumpkin is readily available in the fall. If you plan on making these treats at other times during the year, stock up on a few cans and you'll always be ready to bake a batch. Or, if you have ample freezer space, buy a few sweet pumpkins in the fall, and after you puree them, freeze them for future dog treat recipes. Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour2 eggs1 1/4 cup canned pumpkin (only use pure pumpkin puree, not the pie filling)1/4 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy, I used all natural smooth)1/2 tsp. ground cinnamonwater (I used 1/4 cup of water, you may need more or less) Additional flour for rolling Instructions: Preheat oven to 350° FPlace all ingredients in a bowl. Stir until thoroughly combined. Add water as needed to combine the ingredients.Roll out dough to 1/4" thickness and cut with dog cookie cutters.

Best Dogs For RVing

Our last dog just happened to love RVing as much as we do. It's time to get another and I was wondering what size or type dog might be best for RVing. Joe: There must be an unwritten rule that states the size of the dog should be inversely proportionate to the size of the RV. Next time you are in a campground, see if the St. Bernard doesn't belong to the owner of the van camper. It only make sense for RVers to consider the size of the dog that will share their traveling home. An RVing dog is going to spend the majority of its time inside. But don't let size be the only factor. An animal's energy level is also going to dictate the amount of daily exercise it will require. Vicki: While you are walking that dog, how is it going to react when approached by strange dogs, people and children? Pay attention to the temperament and especially the reputation of the breed of dog you choose.

Compendium of Pesticide Common Names

For purposes of trade, registration and legislation, and for use in popular and scientific publications, pesticides need names that are short, distinctive, non-proprietary and widely-accepted. Systematic chemical names are rarely short and are not convenient for general use, and so standards bodies assign common names to the active ingredients of pesticides. More than 1100 of these official common names for pesticides have been assigned by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This Compendium is believed to be the only place where all of the ISO-approved standard names of chemical pesticides are listed. The Compendium contains much more than ISO common names, with nomenclature data sheets for more than 1700 different active ingredients and for more than 350 ester and salt derivatives, made accessible by a comprehensive set of indexes and a classification. Puppies begin learning at birth and their brains appear to be particularly responsive to learning and retaining experiences that are encountered during the first 13 to 16 weeks after birth.
