It was a sudden and unexpected loss. The kind of loss that is unfair in every way. In the midst of grieving for her lost love, she asked the world to make a peanut butter pie (Mikey’s favorite) and share it with someone they love. In response, the world made pies. I can cook for myself! – was when I first learned to make lemonade. I magically found the refrigerated lemon juice at our house and followed the directions to make my own lemonade. The key to this being the ultimate lemonade is that you blend it up with the lemon rind in there. And any time of day for that matter.
