At ECCC I met with Kel and did all my signatures for the my-signed-versions and everyone-signed-versions, so anyone who ordered the former should be getting those soon! Das oder ähnliches in die Richtung, kriegt man als Comiczeichner in Deutschland oft genug zu hören. Für jemanden, der sich nicht wirklich mit dem Thema Comics auseinandersetzt, was in Deutschland den allergrößten Teil der Gesellschaft ausmacht, bleiben Comics immer noch die „Literatur für Analphabeten“. Da sie mit Bildern erzählen, werden sie von vielen auf eine Stufe mit steinzeitlichen Höhlenmalereien unzivilisierter Kulturen gestellt. Comics sind für viele kein Teil der Kultur und auch nur halbherzig ein Teil von Kunst. Bestenfalls wird ihnen noch Unterhaltungswert zugestanden, wobei vielfach hierbei die Dünndruckpapierheftchen mit Micky-Maus-Geschichten im Hinterkopf sitzen.

Yesss ;_____; First of all thanks so much to my friend L, who got this site running in record time because he is amazing. He seriously did it all in a few hours over this and last weekend, I don’t have enough vocabulary to thank him enough. At the moment we’re looking at a once-a-week update schedule because I’ve got this fucking big test coming up but once I get my pace on I’m going to try to make it M-F. At the moment I’m considering W updates, but maybe M if I can get all my shit together so who knows?!?!
