El ABP es una metodología centrada en el aprendizaje, en la investigación y reflexión que siguen los alumnos para llegar a una solución ante un problema planteado por el profesor. Generalmente, dentro del proceso educativo, el docente explica una parte de la materia y, seguidamente, propone a los alumnos una actividad de aplicación de dichos contenidos.
