It’s sad that he died but he achieved such an incredible thing in his life. I wonder what it must have been like to look up at the moon and be all like ‘yeah, been there, done that’. It’s the fucking moon! If I was rich enough to sign up for a space tourist trip, I totally would. Yeah ok, it would be scary for the possibility of an Apollo 13 situation but how fucking awesome would going into space be? I love space. I may not understand all of the theories, the various terminology for things but still you can’t really argue with how cool it all is. Our planet is also cool, but I think its the fact that I will never go to space for myself, I’m nowhere near skilled or intelligent enough in the right field to be an astronaut, let alone physically equipped or what else.

Dior describes it as "a project specifically conceived by Kris Van Assche for the young people following the latest trends, navigating from the printed word to websites and blogs. " Van Assche has been Dior Homme's artistic director since 2007. Of what does this "alternative communication endeavor" (their words) consist? It's a video and eight photos shot by Willy Vanderperre, in which model Victor Nylander, looking fatigued but contemplative, wears items from the Spring 2011 collection. The lighting and focus of the shots seems designed to capture the understated elegance of the looks, rather than to highlight each detail of their craftsmanship—it's Dior, after all, so the perfect construction is implied.
