Hello, welcome to TVTA … pages and pages of toy advertisements scanned from publications dated between 1970 and 1989. The 1970s and 1980s saw an incredible amount of toys manufactured and licensed around the world. Marketing was targeted not just at the large TV audiences but also at readers of magazines and comics. It was a new dawn for toys that had suddenly become bigger, bolder, shinier and action-packed! TVTA celebrates these toys as they were originally advertised in magazines, comics and other printed publications throughout the world.
