BCS Women Lovelace Colloquium 2010. BCSWomen Lovelace Colloquium 2010. The third BCSWomen Lovelace Colloquium was held in Cardiff University on April 16th 2010, with over 85 women from 30 different univesities registered for the event. It was organised by Miki Burgess, and many other helpful people. To celebrate International Women's Day 2010, ITWales and BCS South Wales are again organising the annual event, "Women Shaping the Future of Wales", which this year will include the official launch of our group, Women @ BCS in Wales. “This event provides an insight into the diverse range of business and career opportunities for women in the 21st Century and offers a platform for sharing experiences, knowledge and best practice for women working with science and technology” Organised for Tuesday 9th March the event is being hosted at The Village Hotel, Swansea, and will be hosted by broadcaster Mai Davies. Starting with a drinks reception from 6:30pm, guests will receive a dinner from 7pm, and the evening will conclude with a series of talks, drawing to a close around 10pm, with opportunity for further networking and refreshments until 11pm.
