Tàrrega obre el debat: per què un país que viu al carrer no reconeix les arts de carrer? "Per què en un país on el carrer és un espai de llibertat les arts de carrer no tenen el reconeixement que han aconseguit en estats menys propicis com el Regne Unit o Holanda? " Aquesta és una de les preguntes amb què la Fira de Tàrrega de Teatre al Carrer vol obrir el debat sobre el futur d'un sector que ha viscut anys brillants a Catalunya i que ara s'enfronta a un cert estancament i a una crisi econòmica que en dificulta el finançament. "L'estela de les grans companyies de teatre de carrer catalanes dels anys vuitanta del segle passat pràcticament ha desaparegut.
L'herència estètica i discursiva que va marcar tantes companyies durant els anys noranta s'ha esgotat", anuncien els organitzadors de la trobada 'Les arts de carrer en temps de crisi', celebrada aquest dimarts a Tàrrega.
