You ONLY want to use the packages from the Asus update repositories. To do this: ctrl-alt-T, sudo kwrite /etc/apt/source.list. Put '#' (no quotes) in front of any repositories other than the Asus ones. Save and close. Then, sudo apt-get update. KDE Dot News.
