They routinely struggle to find accurate and relevant information and present that information with clarity. Because of the many components of the research process and the set of challenges that each component presents, teachers find difficulty in supporting students at each stage.
The growth of the internet, along with improvements to its speed and interface, has made information more plentiful and accessible; however, using the internet to conduct research presents unique obstacles. Today's students may be "digital natives" and use the internet regularly to find information, but they still need considerable support in order to research more effectively. The aim of this tool is to supply teachers with resources that help them as they support student's in conducting online research.
