As part of my mother's Christmas present I decided to make her a calendar for 2012 that featured a different picture of my dog for each month (she's just about as crazy for my dog as I am!). So we were super excited to learn that you can create your own custom colors-and it's really easy! We first learned how from Martha Stewart whose tutorial you can read here. She recommends that you use latex paint, but we tried it out with acrylic paints with much success. Fun with Fabric Pens. I must confess, I've often passed by the fabric markers in the craft store thinking they were for kiddos.
But one day I decided to give them a chance and picked up a pack. I'm so glad I did!
