Two thirds of Americans prefer news from traditional media, survey suggests. US poll suggests that 67 per cent of Americans prefer to get news through traditional media Traditional media is the preferred method of accessing news for 67 per cent of Americans, according to a poll released this week.
The survey, carried out by 24/7 Wall St and Harris Interactive, asked more than 2,000 online American adults about their news consumption habits. Two thirds (67 per cent) said they prefer to get their news from traditional platforms, such as television, newspapers and other print publications. However more than half of those questioned said they felt traditional media will "no longer exist" in 10 years, as we know it today.
