Instructor Message I am beyond excited to be teaching this class, mainly because for all the online information that's available these days in relation to surface pattern design, art licensing, design techniques and creative business tips, I have not seen this type of inside look at selling art through design studios. It's truly born of my experiences on both sides of the story.
I worked as a designer for home and apparel for a long time, and looked through a minimum of fifty studio collections a year. When I became a freelance designer, I contacted some of those same studios and started creating artwork for two of them.
