http://www.thesteampunkempire.com/profiles/blogs/how-i-do-it-custom-pouches How I make dirt cheap custom pouches. There are some folks here that I fooled into believing that I may actually know what I'm doing when it comes to leather working. I was asked to help someone make holsters for a couple pieces of equipment. problem was being a complete beginner, they needed a project that a beginner could do (inexpensive doesn't hurt either )and still look good. this is how my uncle did it ,I added a little to it , and now I'm sharing it with you. this technique requires no measuring and no hardware (Snaps, buttons, etc.) although you certainly could add them if you wanted.

The Chromatic Typewriter

http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2011/12/the-chromatic-typewriter/ Washington-based painter Tyree Callahan modified a 1937 Underwood Standard typewriter, replacing the letters and keys with color pads and hued labels to create a functional “painting” device called the Chromatic Typewriter. Callahan submitted the beautiful typewriter as part of the 2012 West Prize competition, an annual art prize that’s determined by popular vote. I don’t know how practical painting an image with a color typewriter is, but if Keira Rathbone can do it… (via dark silence in suburbia )
