Personal Robot 08, Author: Franz Steiner (software: 3ds max) In the process of the humming work robots can be of a great use for people. Personal Robot 02, Author: Franz Steiner. 2006 » September. Introduction: I recently saw Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Society in its original Japanese without Subtitles.

At a cost of over $3.2 million, this lavish continuation of the Ghost In The Shell saga is a feature length movie of the successful Stand Alone Complex TV series. Because I haven’t seen it with subtitles, this will be a different type review than is normally posted here. I don’t speak Japanese, but thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It’s hard to get across just how different this feature-length film is compared to what’s come before it. There’s a lot more atmosphere and quiet calm about it, with less emphasis on action. ~Ste McNay Overview: Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex – Solid State Society premiered on Japanese pay-per-view television on September 1st 2006. The Story: The story takes place two years after the events in Stand Alone Complex 2nd GiG, after Kusanagi left Section 9. The Sound: Amazing layered soundscapes with movie-style FX that sound really cool.

Fans v. Masamune Shirow Interview. Iconducted the following interview with Masamune Shirow (士郎正宗)in the city of Kobe, Japan,in the lobby ofthe Orient Hotel, on January 28, 1998. I originally did the interview for Wired magazine, but it took a long time to arrange a meeting with Mr. Shirow, and by the time the article was completed editorial directions as well as personnel at Wired had changed. A shortened version of this same interview appeared under the title of"BEING Digital," in the December, 1998 issue of Manga Max (vol.1, no. 1, pp. 18-23). A tip of the hat to editor Jonathan Clements for running it! In the interview Mr. Shirow and I are represented with our own initials; "SG" represents Shigehiko Ogasawara, Mr. Shirow's long term friend and editor, who was present along with Mr.

Don't forget to visit the Ambient Masamune Shirow Space. It's end-of-the-millennium Japan. Shirow doesn't give in-person interviews. Shirow represents something new in today's Japan. Which brings us back to Masamune Shirow. 士郎 Sure... Beyond Human: The Cyborg Revolution.
