MOSCOW, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- A Russian scientist says he sees objects resembling living creatures in photos made by a Russian probe that landed on Venus in a 1982 mission.
Leonid Ksanfomaliti of the Space Research Institute of Russia's Academy of Sciences said he analyzed the photos from a Soviet probe, Venus-13, that landed on the planet three decades ago, RIA Novosti reported. Objects resembling "a disk," "a black flap" and "a scorpion" appear in the photos, he said, and they "emerge, fluctuate and disappear," referring to their changing location in different images and traces on the ground.
