My comment about the fable of the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" was in no way meant as racially offensive, quite the contrary in fact as I do not harbour any hegemonic assumptions that people raised in a different country to my own are delivered the same content as the school system which I was raised in here. The "Boy Who Cried Wolf" story was definitely one which was drummed into me by my education and I refer to it here as a lazy way illustrating how a person can erode their trustworthiness to others by false cries of danger (errors) such that when a day comes that their claims are grounded-in-fact then there is a grave chance their listeners may not pay them much credence due to the reputation they have earned for themself by their past actions.
