You know what, scratch all that, I’m Canadian and I’ve only been here a month so these are basically just my first impressions. earthquakes | I’ve felt three earthquakes since arriving here in Christchurch one month ago, but they happen ALL THE TIME. Usually they’re around a 3 magnitude, no biggie. There’s been 19 just this week, according to www.christchurchquakemap.co.nz. Shopping | My first few shopping excursions resulted in a little bit of sticker shock. I’m not a huge fan of the shopping here, which is probably a good thing because it’s not like I arrived with that much extra space in my suitcase.
