Como ya sabréis, el equipo de Google actualiza con frecuencia Street View, permitiendo a los usuarios visitar lugares de todo el planeta sin levantarse del sofá. Recientemente os hablábamos de la inclusión de imágenes que nos permitían disfrutar de la asombrosa naturaleza de Nueva Zelanda. Ahora, Google ha anunciado la actualización de Street View incorporando imágenes del mítico Machu Picchu. This Shanghai Rainbow Is Made from Suspended Strings
All images © Office339 A sea of rainbow of strings was suspended over ARTificial Garden, a group exhiition of works by PRISM DESIGN, Office339, and others. Known as Artificial Nature, the hanging rainbow created collaboratively between PRISM and Office339 lasted from October 24 through November 16, 2014 at the Shanghai World Financial Center. The piece was "a linear and yet cuboid installation work," according to the artists, "Presenting the maternal body—the foundation of life—as well as expressing that instantaneous moment of life being born through deploying countless lines and a metallic skeleton." "The work provides each viewer with the apparent sensation of an enveloping and immanent experience," they explain. Animaker es una aplicación que podemos usar directamente en Internet para crear vídeos con animaciones realmente profesionales. Se trata de una plataforma en la que podemos crear escenas, arrastrar personajes y crear un guión para desarrollar un vídeo que, posteriormente, pueda ser exportado a youtube, por ejemplo. Las opciones de exportación dependen del plan adquirido del programa, aunque cuentan con una opción gratuita que permite vídeos de hasta 2 minutos y exportación SD. Una vez creada la cuenta veremos varios escenarios en el menú izquierdo, así como los elementos que podemos arrastrar en cada uno de ellos. Un vídeo es una suma de varios escenarios, donde en cada uno ocurre la acción que configuremos. Cuenta con una pista para que podamos configurar el sonido de la animación, y varios elementos “premium” no disponibles en la opción gratuita, pero la flexibilidad que ofrece a la hora de mover personajes o de cambiar de uno a otro, hace que valga la pena probarlo.

It was another great year for installations as artists from all over the world brought out their best, most immersive work. While last year we saw Do Ho Suh's fabric replica of a house within a house and, Ai Wei Wei's 3,000 plus stacked bicycles and Yayoi Kusama's LEDs and mirrored filled room, this year we saw mud, tape and crystals being used. Of course, the installation that topped them all was Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red by Paul Cummunis, 888,246 handmade poppies surrounding the Tower of London in one of the most beautifully symbolic works we've ever seen.
