Word Jumble: Practicing sentence structures It appears in several activity books and I have come across it in various course books as well. In ‘Five-minute activities’ (Penny Ur & Andrew Wright, Cambridge University Press) it is called Jumbled Sentences. I’ve known it as Word Jumble. I have used this activity a few times and I have tried several different ways of presenting it.

The Mystery Word Game – tekhnologic The Mystery Word Game is a great game to review vocabulary. Give clues and challenge your students to answer with the correct vocabulary until they can guess the mystery word. I have used this activity in my classes as it only requires some markers pens and a whiteboard (or chalk and a blackboard).
