Archeologische opgravingen Suikerrui nog tot eind juli te bezichtigen | Antwerpen
Tot eind juli 2012 kan iedereen de archeologische site aan de Suikerrui bezichtigen. De huidige timing van de werken aan de Suikerrui blijft echter wel behouden. Ze zullen voor de zomer klaar zijn. De terrassen zullen ook allemaal geplaatst kunnen worden en de geplande evenementen ondervinden er geen hinder van. De ruimte voor het stadhuis, het Gildekamerplein, wordt na het bouwverlof afgewerkt. Naar aanleiding van de heraanleg van de Suikerrui wordt sinds 20 april 2012 door de stedelijke archeologische dienst onderzoek uitgevoerd in het voormalig plantsoen ten zuiden van het stadhuis.

The 22-story apartment tower in Portland, Oregon, has a roof garden that funnels rainwater to its public toilets. Because the water isn’t treated, state law requires “Do Not Drink” warning signs. “Just in case your dog can read,” said Dennis Wilde, chief sustainability officer for Gerding Edlen, the Portland-based builder of the development called Indigo@Twelve West.
