Former university lecturer at Dept of Physics, University of Sheffield. Interested in all aspects of science and education. Also volunteer for Fundación Vicente Ferrer, doing Spanish-English translations for their charity reports for work they do in India. Hobbies include writing, woodwork, playing music badly, physics education projects based at home, family stuff, movies, positive thinking. Currently fighting cancer and aiming to break medical records for survival which is easy with the tremendous support i've been getting from family and friends!
