My name is Jim. I began this site in 2001 after having trouble finding quality, public domain photos online to use in my designs. People just seemed interested in flaunting their portfolios or charging absurd amounts of money to license a photograph. I bought a camera and bothered my photographer friends until I had a grasp on taking photos. I shot what I needed, and some extras. Eventually, I had a collection of photos going to waste so I figured I'd put them online for other people to use with no strings attached.Photo laboratory (Photl.com) - Free Stock Photo / photl.com
All images can be downloaded for free (849x565 pix and 1920x1280 pix) and used for personal and other non-commercial purposes (in accordance with the legal information ), links to photl.com are welcome but not mandatory. To download images at a maximum resolution (license Extended Royalty Free), use a bigger traffic volume, and download images out of queue need to pay for one of the plans .

Clip art and photos WPClipart is an ever-growing collection of artwork for schoolkids and others that is free of copyright concerns as well as safe from inappropriate images. Use in school research and reports is my main focus when creating, or finding and editing -- but there are photos and clips here that work great for commercial uses, book illustrations, office presentations, and some just for fun... This is an eastern carpenter bee (Xylocopa virginica) -- and early every Spring (or just prior to spring) I see these bees working the blooming redbuds by the hundreds. Their long tongues are needed for getting at the redbud nectar, so you won't catch a bumblebee on a redbud.
