The audience for this publication consists primarily of female scrapbookers and paper crafters, and those readers get a lot for the $1.50 cost. This month, in addition to the heritage brush and instructions for creating your own from a photo using Photoshop Elements I provided, two kits and other goodies are included with the magazine. One of the kits and my brush are quite suitable for male heritage page designers. Here is the layout I created for the magazine using my Old House brush. Way to late, I know, but still I want to wish you all a wonderful, healthy, happy, inspiring, creative and colorful new year, may it be filled with loads of moments worth remembering!! I have a LOT to share. I've been busy creating for CHA and DT's and spend the last 2 days preparing kits for my "Whole Shebang"- workshop this upcoming weekend. Two day-workshops with 24 participants each day, that is a lot of cutting, punching and gathering together :) But the kits are as good as done so today I created a canvas for the Tattered Angels booth at CHA, that I can't share yet. Tease, tease... :) What I can share is a set of tags I created for the Tattered Angels blog last month. The assignment was to lift projects form our fellow DT-members. For my tags I was inpsired by this little book made by Vicky Chrisman. In stead of a mini album I created a set of tags that can be used on layouts or cards later.

I was looking at my Downloaded Kits folder last night, and I have amassed an amazing 16 G (no, that's not a typo) of Downloaded Freebies - this does not include actions or free software, templates or quick pages - it shocked me!
And, it explained completely why I could never find the one perfect thing I was looking for. I could never find the stitches, or frame I had been thinking about using. It's hard to be an organized digi scrapper. I don't break up my kits into separate folders because I want to know where to give credit, when due, and I may want to use coordinating pieces.
