Over the last fifteen years, considerable effort has been spent on the development of standards and specifications to improve the interoperability of e-learning systems, repositories, and content. These efforts have led to significant advances in the arena of technical interoperability. These advances have made possible the emergence and expansion of successful federations and alliances of learning object repositories such as the Learning Resource Exchange, ARIADNE, GLOBE, and more recently the Learning Registry.

1 in Share 2 The traditional top-down structure in organizations can be a powerful inhibitor to innovation. It is a reflection of a command and control style of leadership where orders are issued at the top and followed by the ranks. People lower down the organization who have great ideas can feel inhibited about promoting them. They feel it is disrespectful to challenge the command chain. Most modern businesses try to overcome this with open communication and employee empowerment.
But this time something occurred to me: What about that Kickstarter thing? Kickstarter has been around online for just over two years, and various artists, filmmakers, musicians, writers and designers have used the site to raise more than $75 million for 10,626 “creative projects,” to use Kickstarter’s preferred term. That money has come from 813,205 “backers” — individuals making mostly modest contributions (the most common is $25) to support specific efforts. The selling point of “crowd-funding,” as this phenomenon has come to be called, is that it is an alternative to the wealthy patron or the grant-giving foundation.

Artilect est un LABoratoire de FABrication, Fab Lab , où toute personne, quelque soit son niveau de connaissance, peut venir expérimenter, apprendre ou fabriquer par elle-même tous types d'objets (prototype technique, objet interactif, artistique ou design, meuble, etc.). Pour cela chaque membre peut venir utiliser les différentes machines du Fab Lab , apprendre des autres membres ou participer aux différents projets collectifs. Les projets innovant étant le fruit de collaborations et d'idées pluridisciplinaires nécessitant des visions nouvelles et diverses et des compétences complémentaires, Artilect favorise aussi les rencontres de personnes issues de domaines et de communautés complémentaires et met à disposition les outils de fabrication numérique du FabLab pour réaliser ces projets.Par interaction entre le corps, l’espace, et Kinect, l’utilisateur peut modeler la lumière en choisissant des zones à éclairer dans l’habitat, comme des zones de lecture, de jeu, de repos etc. Le luminaire créé, grâce à ces zones définies, permet une lumière personnelle et adaptée pour chacun. Par découpe laser, un Fablab produit les pièces de l’objet à monter, après avoir reçu le fichier généré par l’utilisateur à la fin de son interaction. L’assemblage de notre luminaire en chromulux (papier) type plafonnier, objet hybride entre un spot et une lampe, se fait grâce à un montage simple à mi chemin entre l’origami et le puzzle. Le coût d’un abat-jour est d’environ 6€ car nous utilisons 3 feuilles de Chromulux à 2€ l’unité. Si l’utilisateur possède déjà un système ( douille + ampoule ).
