It manufactured the deadly defoliate Agent Orange during the Vietnam War in the 1960s and 70s, which killed or injured millions of Vietnamese people as well as U.S. soldiers, and earlier refined plutonium for the Manhattan Project that produced the atomic bombs we dropped on Japan in World War II.
