Taking LSD For Breakfast Can Make Your Better At Your Job, Says Scientist

If your answer is with a sprinkling of the hallucinogenic drug which inspired much of the music which came out of the ’60s and ’70s, then this one’s for you. With the caveat ‘probably (definitely) don’t try this at home’ we bring you the news that having LSD for breakfast can, apparently, help with anxiety, headaches and also increase your concentration. Rolling Stone magazine reports that Silicon Valley professionals are taking the drug at work to increase their productivity levels. How much is a microdose?

Dennis discusses his early life with Terence and the unbreakable bond between his brother and he; living through the first wave of the psychedelic 1960s; the Experiment at La Chorerra (recounted in full, mind-blowing detail) and the fallout that still lingers to this day. The 2012 meme, Timewave Zero, ayahuasca and the Global Shamanic Resurgence are all examined at length, as is the passing of Terence and the impact on his family, and the entheogenic tribe. ' or 'Shittr! ' (depending on which translation you read) is the first word of French dramatist, novelist, and poet Alfred Jarry's best-known work, the play Ubu Roi. Ubu Roi can be read as a parody of classical and Shakespearean tragedy which involves, among other things, a plot to kill the King of Poland and a lot of toilet humour. But the play's subject could just as easily be its own language of ludicrous exclamations and insults ('By my green candle! ' Brion Gysin: Dream Machine. It's worth taking the time to get to grips with Brion Gysin.

Brion Gysin: Dream Machine

If you're into William Burroughs, you're certain to know of Gysin's invention of the cut-up technique, and will have, at the very least, seen some of his art on the dust jackets of Burroughs collectibles - magical calligraphic squares inspired by Japanese calligraphy, Arabic writing, Moroccan magic and the sigils, perhaps, of the visionary British artist and onetime society portraitist, Austin Osman Spare. Spare is an equally fascinating artist who does not appear in the index of this book. His influence on Gysin and Burroughs is rarely, if ever, mentioned - nor is the lineage of Crowley in both men's work - but I'm convinced that it's there.

The Cut Up wasn't the only scrap yard of future technology that Gysin brought to Burroughs' table.

01 L’Apothéose Du Dollar (4:22) The Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory. La Desintegración de la Persistencia de la Memoria or The Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory (oil on canvas, 1954), is a painting by the Spanish surrealist Salvador Dalí. It is an oil on canvas re-creation of the artist's famous 1931 work The Persistence of Memory, and measures a diminutive 25.4 × 33 cm.

It was originally known as The Chromosome of a Highly-coloured Fish's Eye Starting the Harmonious Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory, and first exhibited at the Carstairs Gallery in New York in 1954.[1] Description[edit] In this version, the landscape from the original work has been flooded with water. Disintegration depicts what is occurring both above and below the water's surface. Background[edit] Dalí had been greatly interested in nuclear physics since the first atomic bomb explosions of August 1945, and described the atom as his "favourite food for thought". Scientists discover source of rock used in Stonehenge's first circle - News - Archaeology. By comparing fragments of stone found at and around Stonehenge with rocks in south-west Wales, they have been able to identify the original rock outcrop that some of the Stonehenge material came from. The work - carried out by geologists Robert Ixer of the University of Leicester and Richard Bevins of the National Museum of Wales - has pinpointed the source as a 70 metre long rock outcrop called Craig Rhos-y-Felin, near Pont Saeson in north Pembrokeshire.

Abstact, Supernatural. Hurricane Irene Could Sprout Bumper Crop Of Magic Mushrooms. Everyone knows the potential destructive power of hurricanes, but few people are aware that storms like Hurricane Irene encourage growth of psychedelic mushrooms. Yes, it sounds trippy, but one of the strange aftermaths of a hurricane is an increased amount of mushrooms popping up -- especially the psilocybin -- or "magic" kind -- the ones that cause hallucinations. According to Dr. Casey Simon, an addiction expert based in Orange County, Calif., hurricanes create the perfect climactic conditions for the mushrooms to grow. No business card.
