THE LAZY DOG

Who am I In 1999 Alexis Taïeb discovered graffiti. As his first works had barely dried on the walls he knew that he had found a love for life. This love for typography became a natural guide into a new profession. And soon enough, he graduated from Gobelins in 2007 with a solid knowledge of design and typography.

FormFiftyFive – Design inspiration from around the world

http://www.formfiftyfive.com/ What the FFF? Founded in 2005 by an ever growing group of young designers and vagabonds eager to collect and share the best design work they came across, FormFiftyFive soon became an international showcase of creative work. Although the site was doing a great job at sparking creativity, we felt it could, and should, be even bigger and better.
http://www.rightpsyche.com/wordpress/ A man, a room and some mind warping drugs that send him hurtling through time brandishing a kettle and a dangerously brittle mug full of boiling liquid. That’s what this ad may appear to be about on first viewing however, some may say unfortunately, no such luck. This one sees the ESB (now ESB Electric Ireland ) celebrate their many years of serving electrons to our power hungry country and a little brand change thrown in for good luck. In the background we see household objects morph/transform into new household objects.

http://studio.tendril.ca/#/HAPPINESS-IS In late Spring 2009, Y&R approached Nakd with a unique video project for Hershey's Latin American market. Rather than simply translating the American market's spots, the very open brief requested a fusion of graphics and live action built up around a series of phrases, each beginning with the words 'Happiness is...'. Over the course of the 6 week project, we worked closely with the with the team to refine each of the phrases and flesh out a visual story for each.

Matte Painting | Concept Art | Illustration site of Frederic St-

The Decline of Babel Myth is a personal matte painting inspired from the movie Blade Runner. It's basically a set extention of New York City buildings. (+) Created in 2006, this concept art was an idea to help and motivate a student to accomplish his vision of 3D animation shot of a futuristic mushroom shaped city. (+) Drakensberg is an imaginary castle inspired from the Lord of the Ring. The castle was completed only with photoshop brushes and no photos or outsource images. (+) Originally, "Waterfall Church" matte painting was a simple black and white drawing on a note pad. Then, it was scanned and colored in photoshop. A quite noisy place to spend the night! (+) This is a quick concept art done in few hours showing the construction of a modern tower viewed from an interior ship garage.
