About Catherine After completing my BA, PGCE and MA at Liverpool and York universities, I became a professional writer for a couple of decades until my son came along and priorities changed! For several years I became a full-time mum and I have educated my son at home since he was five. I am very familiar with the joys and challenges of home-education and the frustrations of school-orientated teaching materials!
"Concentration is the Most Important Intellectual Habit of Man." Not one person in ten thousand can really concentrate. Some realize that they do not know how—others drift along the line of least resistance and let their minds vegetate, apparently never suspecting their weakness or realizing that they are an utter failure at concentration. To Cori-centre—bringing all your mental force and faculties to bear steadily on a given center with-out deviation from that exact point—whipping into line all wandering fancies—stray ideas or thoughts that go off on a tangent—to hold steadily all your power on the central thing under consideration without an instant of wavering—that is Concentration.
You can choose to read the blog from the most recent post , or you can choose to the blog by author. I am Lily and I live in the North West of England with my dh who is recently retired and our youngest son. We have three children, two of whom (ds1 and dd) are graduates in their early 30s with their own homes and families. We have three small grandchildren. We share the home education of our youngest son Rupert, who is 15. We removed him from school at the end of year 4 when he was 9 years of age, immediately after a diagnosis of mild/moderate dyslexia.
The Crossword puzzle maker is used to make simple crossword puzzles. It turns out that good crossword puzzles of the type found in newspapers are fairly hard to generate, and require a pool of lots of words, not all of which are used. This program puts all of the words you specify (no more, no less) into a simple crossword puzzle. The puzzle that is generated will remain on this server for about two months . If you want to ensure that you have a copy of the generated puzzle, make sure you save a copy.
